Chi Thermal Imaging believes in honoring the divine feminine with thermography’s gentle but effective approach for breast health screening. 

Thermography utilizes state-of-the-art, FDA-cleared technology to provide an image of the body’s physiologic responses. Thermography is a safe, non-radiologic, non-invasive, painless test with no compression, radiation, or injections and no known adverse effects. 

This study is safe for women of all ages and allows them to maintain their dignity while being proactive in their health and wellness concerns.

Thermography detects the physiologic changes in the breast tissue that correlates with cancerous or pre-cancerous states. Since thermal imaging detects changes at the cellular level, studies suggest that this test can see abnormal activity eight to ten years before any other test. 

Breast thermography is usually repeated once yearly, after an initial repeat at three months to establish thermal stability. It is also well suited for pre-menopausal women, whose denser breast tissue and fibrocystic breasts makes mammography more difficult and less accurate. This is good news for women who have concerns about the discomfort and radiation exposure of mammograms.

Thermography aids in early detection, avoids hazards, offers a lower price tag, and is directly accessible because it can be performed without a physician’s order. Currently, the main drawback is that it is not routinely paid for by insurance companies. However, screening breast thermography is an affordable investment in your health, and in your peace of mind. An HSA is an approved form of payment for your thermogram.

Early Detection

Early detection allows for modifications in diet and lifestyle, such as eliminating underwire bras, avoiding conventional antiperspirants, eating whole organic foods, cutting out sugar, and reducing or managing stress in healthy ways. 

The American Cancer Society, among many others, has noted the significant increase in false positive mammograms leading to 800,000 unnecessary biopsies a year in this country alone. Utilizing thermography to measure breast physiology, we can look at “hot spots” in potential areas of concern, the absence of which reduces suspicion and the need for invasive intervention.

Misdiagnosis and Overdiagnosis

Due to misdiagnosis and overdiagnosis by mammography, perfectly healthy

women are subjected to deadly cancer treatments, including radiation, chemotherapy, and surgery. These treatments leave women sick, maimed, and scarred.
